Christmas atmospheres in the Natisone Valleys

With guide Maria Trevisi, ‘Guided in the Wonder’ enters the Christmas Atmosphere in the Natisone Valleys on Sunday 15 December 2024

We will meet in Cravero (municipality of San Leonardo) on the morning of 15 December. Here we will have the opportunity to visit the Church of Santa Lucia, which belongs to the Route of the 44 Votive Churches. Just as the children of yesteryear were enchanted by the small gifts brought by Santa Lucia, so too will we be amazed by this little treasure chest of faith and art with its interesting frescoes and its precious gilded wooden altar. After the visit, we will move (each with our own means of transport) to Azzida (municipality of San Pietro al Natisone) where the Pussini family will welcome us at the Molino that bears their name. We will visit the premises used for production, which takes place in a renovated environment, but one that is faithful to tradition, combining new structures and state-of-the-art machinery with the knowledge and care provided by over 200 years of experience. We will end the morning with the aromas and flavours of Molino Pussini products, including polenta made with carefully selected maize flour from only the best local producers.
