Conference ‘Aquileia as a Sustainable Destination’ - 26th Anniversary of Aquileia UNESCO Site
To celebrate the 26th anniversary of Aquileia's inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the Aquileia Foundation is organizing, in collaboration with the Municipality of Aquileia, the Basilica of Aquileia, the Regional Directorate of Museums FVG - Archaeological Museum of Aquileia and PromoTurismoFVG, an important conference aimed at celebrating this significant milestone.

Institutions, professionals and operators of the tourist-cultural sector, as well as journalists, editors and walkers will dialogue and discuss on Thursday, December 5, within the spaces of the Cantina Ca'Tullio (via Beligna 41, Aquileia), on issues of great relevance not only for Aquileia, where sea and land routes have crossed since antiquity, but also for the wider regional territory. These include a new Festival dedicated to the itineraries and routes that intertwine precisely in Aquileia; projects in the making for GO! 2025; concrete examples of entrepreneurial creativity applied to cultural enhancement; and the impact of climate change on archaeological and cultural heritage.
