Festival of the Paths
Friday 4 and Saturday 5 April: two days full of events are coming up to discover the UNESCO site of Aquileia as a destination for slow and eco-sustainable tourism.
Alongside moments of scientific divulgation, there will be walks along the main paths that intertwine precisely in Aquileia, which has always been a meeting point of itineraries and ancient pilgrimage routes. There will also be sessions of discussion and dialogue, ‘active’ experiences between history, archaeology and nature, as well as workshops and educational activities for children.

The rich programme -which is currently being finalised- is realised thanks to the collaboration between Fondazione Aquileia, Comune di Aquileia, Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio del Friuli Venezia Giulia, Direzione regionale musei del Friuli Venezia Giulia - Museo archeologico nazionale di Aquileia, Società per la Conservazione della Basilica di Aquileia, PromoTurismoFVG.
In addition, the event is financed from the funds of Law no. 77 of 20 February 2006 ‘Special measures for the protection and enjoyment of Italian sites and elements of cultural, landscape and environmental interest, included in the “World Heritage List”, under the protection of UNESCO’.
