At the end of the first phase of the Cyclewalk project, the EGTC GO developed a cross-border local action plan to promote the Isonzo-Soča natural park and develop active mobility and cycle tourism in the areas of Gorizia, Nova Gorica and Šempeter- Vrtojba, in synergy with ongoing interventions in Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia.
The action plan includes three actions: - Audit on sustainable intermodality (public transport and active mobility); - Pilot action for monitoring active mobility; - set up of a network of service providers for active mobility and cycle tourism. The actions will be implemented in 2020 and 2021.
