Interreg Italy - Slovenia Programme in the lead to host Interreg Annual Event 2025
The Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme 2021-2027 hosted the first meetings with a delegation of the European Commission to organise in cooperation with EGTC GO the Interreg Annual Event in the year 2025. This event is a not-to-be-missed occasion, as the participants will include delegations from Interreg Programmes from all over Europe, who will be able to admire at first hand the excellent results that the Interreg Italy-Slovenia Programme has achieved on the territory in almost 25 years of activity. Best practices of cross-border cooperation experienced by the same guest programmes in other parts of Europe will also be presented.
Gorizia and Nova Gorica were identified as the ideal location for the event. In this way, the Interreg Annual Event will become one of the leading events of the year 2025 in addition to the European Capital of Culture.
