In mid-November, a number of important European events took place in Budapest, which were attended by three EGTC GO representatives, consisting of director Romina Kocina and project managers Micaela Passon and arch. Giulia Bonn.

On 12 and 13 November, the partner meeting and kick-off conference of the BorderLabs CE project, in which EGTC GO participates as a partner, took place. The title of the project is Participatory Cross-Border Governance for Transition Management in Central European Cross-Border Regions and is supported by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

During the kick-off conference, Director Kocina presented the activities that will be developed in the cross-border area. The objective is to create a cross-border development model of sustainable tourism based on cycling that starts from the territorial area represented by the EGTC GO and its experiences and expands to include the entire GO! Borderless area involved in the European Capital of Culture. Further information can be found on the project page, which can be accessed at this link.

On 13 November, the EGTC GO representation also participated in the EGTC Award ceremony, a prestigious award that is conferred annually on the most deserving EGTC. In 2022 the award went to EGTC GO (link to the news) and this year it was among the members of the jury.

The following day, 14 November, the team also participated in the Art of cooperation conference within the Interreg platform programme, an important European event organised under the umbrella of the Hungarian Presidency to discuss the future of Interreg cooperation programmes. The importance of the EGTCs' role was emphasised and confirmed by several voices.
