#CROssingITA-SLOwly: programmes cooperating for sustainable tourism opportunities

As part of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2024 in Brussels, on Wednesday 9 October the EGTC GO participated in the CROssingITA-SLOwly event to discuss sustainable tourism opportunities in the cross-border regions of Italy, Slovenia and Croatia for the active involvement of participants.

The day's programme included an initial presentation of existing synergies between Interreg projects and funding programmes and a workshop where participants were asked to work in groups to share information and identify similar activities for full cooperation

17 projects were selected to participate in the event based on their alignment with the theme of the participatory workshop, including BeWoP, in which EGTC GO is a project partner,  whereas Fundacija Poti miru v Posočju is the lead partner.

During the workshop, the EGTC GO representative shared its experiences and the work it is doing, together with all partners, to find solutions to the common challenges of our cross-border territory.
