Over the past few months, theLead Partner of Beyond Walk of Peace project, Fundacija Poti Miru, was contacted by MangoMilk an Australian independent production company for a Walk of Peace initiative. Their main focus is on Europe and the crisis it is going through in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, the migrant crisis and the war in Ukraine. Their documentary ‘Europa’ will tell the story of a group of pilgrims who follow European cultural routes to discover whether the European ideal survives in the hearts of its inhabitants, or whether they are condemned to repeat history.

The lead partner was asked to involve citizens, authors, historians and intellectuals from our cross-border area to be told how the border is experienced and how their perspective has changed over the years. The documentary is functional to the activities promoted within the BeWoP and Walk of Peace project, as it tells the story of an area that has been able to regain harmony and peace after years of division.

Below is a first trailer of the documentary Europa.
