The Fake Orchestra has been active as a musical collective since 1997, with many top Slovenian and foreign musicians as more or less permanent members and regular guests.

FAKE ORCHESTRA   Ana Vipotnik, voice Boštjan Gombač, voice, clarinet, flute Primož Fleischman, saxophone Igor Leonardi, guitar, strings Tadej Kampl, bass Lovro Bone, drums Guest: Lara Grbić, voice     Fake Orchestra has been a musical collective since 1997, and its more or less permanent members and regular guests include many Slovenian and foreign musicians of the highest calibre. Since its inception, the ethno/jazz ensemble has regularly performed in various configurations at home and abroad, including New York, London, Vienna, Dublin, Cork, Budapest, Helsinki, Brussels, Prague, Istanbul, Belgrade, Venice and Berlin. In 2009 the group was nominated for the British World Music Magazine Songlines Award in the Newcomers category.   The group will present a snippet of their favourite repertoire, which includes contemporary arrangements of Slovenian folk songs, compositions by jazz diva Billie Holiday and exotic songs from the Third World.   Ticket price 17 € – regular price 12 € – reduced price (seniors, pupils and students)   Contact and information T: 05 335 40 16 E: blagajna@kulturnidom-ng.si
