Travel to the 18th century: visit St. Ignatius' vestry

A journey into the past more than 300 years long, among sacred furnishings, paintings and liturgical vestments from the treasury of the former Jesuit college: this is what you can do from Saturday, 7 December to Monday, 6 January, thanks to the opening of the Vestry of St Ignatius Church and the Hall of the 18th century. Located above the left sacristy, the Hall was the place where the Jesuits discussed their doctoral theses, as well as the last remaining testimony of the entire convent. Both rooms are enriched by explanatory panels with text and images. Opening times: every Saturday and Sunday 2.30-5 p.m.

Un viaggio nel passato lungo più di 300 anni, tra arredi sacri, dipinti e paramenti liturgici del tesoro dell’antico collegio gesuita: è quello che si potrà fare da sabato 7 dicembre a lunedì 6 gennaio, grazie all'apertura della Sacrestia della chiesa di Sant’Ignazio e della Sala del ‘700.

Situata sopra la sacrestia di sinistra, la Sala era il luogo in cui i gesuiti discutevano le loro tesi di dottorato, nonché l'ultima testimonianza che resta dell’intero convento.

Entrambi gli ambienti sono arricchiti da pannelli esplicativi con testo e immagini.

Apertura: ogni sabato e domenica 14.30-17.
