45. Traditional targeting of "pirhi" in Miren

You are invited to the 45th Traditional Easter Egg Targeting Competition!
Since time immemorial, the targeting games have been very popular all over Slovenia. They varied from place to place. The most common version, i.e. the targeting of the "pirhi", has been preserved in Miren. On Easter, after mass, people gathered around churches, taverns, squares ... Children would bring the beautifully decorated Easter eggs to be aimed. They would set them up against a wall or a tree, and older boys and men would aim them.
This Easter tradition and tradition continues to this day.
You are invited to the 45th traditional Easter egg-targeting competition, which will take place on 20 April (Easter) at 10:30 am at Kampot (Miren, near the Adria football field).
In case of bad weather, the competition will take place under a tent.
