St Martin's Feast in Kostanjevica na Krasu

Join us on Saturday, 16 November 2024, for St Martin's Day in Kostanjevica na Krasu! A varied programme awaits you with a wine tasting, a traditional Karst jota cooking competition, a wine christening ceremony and evening entertainment with live music.
Event programme:
Starting at 14:00 at Kržada, where we will taste selected wines from local winemakers and cheer on the competitors who will compete in the best jota. At 17.00, the traditional christening of the young wine will take place - be part of this unique ceremony celebrating the new wine harvest. From 19.00, we invite you to join us in the hall for an evening of live music, where we will continue the celebrations with good company, dancing and song.
In case of bad weather, the whole programme will take place in the hall of the Cultural Centre in Kostanjevica.
