42nd ANDOS National Conference: Andos and Europe

42nd National Congress A.N.D.O.S., National Association of Breast Operated Women. The primary objective of the congress is to provide women with a broad and comprehensible overview of the diagnostic and therapeutic issues surrounding breast cancer, while at the same time highlighting how rapidly these are evolving thanks to ongoing research.

The congress will also include cultural and tourist activities as part of the GO 2025 Capital of Culture. The event is expected to attract around 100 participants from around 50 committees from all over Italy and other similar Slovenian associations. It will therefore be an important moment of confrontation with other realities.

The choice of Gorizia as host city was proposed by our committee and immediately accepted by the National Association, also and above all in view of the European Capital of Culture.

Consequently, this congress will bring prestige to our territory and allow us to promote it from all points of view (tourism, food and wine, and culture).

At this 42nd Congress, we will be covering many topics: the change in the very approach to prevention; the increasingly important role of genetics; the latest developments in the field of therapy, which now make it possible to achieve results that were unhoped for a few years ago; artificial intelligence, and much more.

In addition, we will reflect on how it is essential to add years to life, but especially life to years. Data from the ‘financial toxicity’ questionnaire will be presented. Ample space will be given to the voice of all committees for a fruitful exchange of experiences.
