Arte Open Itinerari Possibili. Multimedia meeting of international contemporary art

Arte open_Possible Itineraries Multimedia meeting of international contemporary art Thirty-eight years have now passed since 1987, hundreds of Italian and foreign artists have come and gone and left their mark on this territory, with the idea that only mutual respect and knowledge could give life to something truly serious and lasting and not just occasional.

Over time, Arte Immagine has transformed into Arte Open, a large, widespread artistic laboratory in which the horizons have spread, becoming "Itinerari Possibili” (Possible Itineraries) in the complex world of Art.

Over time, the Arte Open collection, created thanks to the generosity of the artists, has taken on remarkable numbers and qualities: there are hundreds of works, divided between paintings, graphics, sculptures, installations, photography and videos that compose it. Since 2007, a part of this heritage has occupied the spaces of the Municipal headquarters of Staranzano, making itself visible to everyone and becoming the Permanent Exhibition of International Contemporary Art "Arte Open - Itinerari Possibili” (Possible Itineraries).

This significant artistic heritage represents a very deep connection between the history and the culture of the territory, the different identities and lived experiences of the artists, the relationship with the community, highlighting the public and civil value of the work of art and its political impact on society.

For the project concerning GO! 2025, we thought of reactivating above all the connections with the artists of Gorizia and Nova Gorica and following up on what has been a cultural and artistic season that cannot be forgotten and that can find its essence precisely through this event.

Artists' works for Nova Gorica: Bojan Bole, Metka Erzar, Franc Golob Pavel Medvescek, Negovan Nemec, Dusan Pogornik, Marko Pogacnik, Clavdji Tutta, Etko Tutta.

Zvest Apollonio Gorizia: Alfred De Locatelli, Mauro Mauri, Roberto Kusterle, Sergio Culot, Maria Fina Ingaliso. Austria: Valentin Oman, Hans Bischoffshausen. Croazia: Zdravko Milic.
