Join us at the presentation of new tourist programs, where we will also look for opportunities for cooperation.

What can participants expect? New experiences of nature and culture will be brought to light in the Gorica region with the first cross-border European capital of culture, which is also an excellent starting point for various sports programs and exploring the countryside. The Alps and the Mediterranean region are connected by the emerald river Soča, a synonym for outdoor activities. Welcome to the limitlessness of space and experiences!

• Presentation of trends in the field of outdoor and well-being, which represent a solid basis for the further development of programs even after 2025;
• Presentation of cycling, running, and hiking programs that bring the cultural contents closer to the active visitor of the region through stories. Together, we will search for answers on how to present cultural content to the active target group of visitors;
• Conversation with invited guests and participants, where the focus will be on the possibility of cooperation by finding common points and upgrading the presented programs;
• Relaxed gathering with a glass of wine. In the cross-border area, the programs combine sports and cultural tourism to create a new tourism offer that will offer visitors an active, in-depth, and sustainable way of discovering the unique natural area, local cuisine, and rich cultural content of the EPK region.

Who is invited? The event is open to the general public but is primarily intended for tourism providers, sports service providers, and representatives of various tourism development institutes. Journalists are also invited.

The presentation and workshop with guests will be led by Peter Dakskobler, representative of Mad Mountain d.o.o., who has extensive experience in the field of outdoor tourism and is the current president of the Section of Tourist Service Providers at GZS SPGZ.
