Let's GO! Ebike Tour
On the occasion of GO!2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia, we offer you the Ebike inaugural tour of this fantastic cultural excursion, available throughout 2025 in the ON-DEMAND section of our website WWW.RIDEANDFUN.COM
We will head to the castle of Gorizia, a fortification dating back to the eleventh century, then we will descend through the ancient Via Rastello, Piazza Vittoria and then we will cycle towards the Slovenian border to enter Nova Gorica and head to an ancient Monastery of Castagnevizza, an ancient Franciscan monastery, we will descend to the Transalpine Station, a symbolic place of the fall of the Gorizia/Nova Gorica border, from here we will proceed to Salkano to reach an ancient railway bridge rebuilt in the fascist period to today an engineering masterpiece.
Then we will arrive in a small village San Mauro on the slopes of Mount Sabotino, and then cross the city of Gorizia towards the Casa Rossa square.
Tot km: 20, Elevation 330 Route mainly on asphalted secondary road, sometimes unpaved. Suitable for everyone.
