Literary aperitif, fifth event of "Oltreconfine Ungaretti" in Savogna-Sovodnje

Tuesday 18 February 2025, Municipality of Savogna – Sovodnje Ob Soči, Lokanda Devetak 1870, 6:30 pm, fifth evening of the Oltreconfine Ungaretti project of the Cikale Operose Association and the Municipality of Sagrado (leader) financed by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and included in the program of Go!2025 Gorizia and Nova Gorica European capital of culture. The bilingual evening will focus on the lyrics of Ciril Zlobec and Giuseppe Ungaretti. Speakers: Elisa De Zan, in her speech "Negli incastri fangosi dei sassi…: Ungaretti, la natura, il Carso" will discuss Ungaretti's relationship with Carso as nature and war landscape. Damiana Devetak, a teacher of literature and Latin at the Slovenian High School in Gorizia, will talk about the value of the word in the lyrics of Ciril Zlobec and Giuseppe Ungaretti. Readings from Zlobec and Ungaretti by actor Franko Koršec and Francesco Accomando, actor, director and artistic director of the project. Music performed live by the violin duo Makrina and Jakob Andrej Quinzi. Jakob Andrej Quinzi is a student of Mojca Križnič at the CSEM Emil Komel. Makrina Quinzi, after completing her pre-academic studies at the CSEM Emil Komel, is now attending the violin class of Prof. Diana Mustea at the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory in Trieste
