Motor courses, collaborative group games and crossborder fencing meetings in Transalpina/Europe Square.
The Regional Committee of Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italian Fencing Federation F.I.S.) together with the Slovenian National Fencing Federation organizes a sporting event on Saturday 10 May 2025 or, in case of bad weather, Saturday 17 May 2025 on Piazza Transalpina. The event is aimed at the categories of the Italian federation “first blades” and “beginners” and the categories of the Slovenian federation “U8 and “U10”, to the children of the primary schools of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia. There will be motor courses, collaborative group games and fencing meetings. The motor games will occupy the spaces of both countries (Italy and Slovenia). The 4 fencing lanes will make their center line coincide with the state border so that the athletes will continuously “cross borders” in their sporting performance.Language info
