The Verses of Celso Macor in the Works of Dario Delpin

Multimedia exhibition “The Verses of Celso Macor in the Works of Dario Delpin”: a collection of Dario Delpin's graphic works inspired by the poems of Celso Macor, already published in the volume “Impiâ peraulis” (Lighting Words). 

Celso Macor returns to Romans. On the 100th anniversary of the birth of the poet, intellectual and journalist born in Versa in 1925, the Municipality of Romans d'Isonzo and the Friulian Philological Society are jointly promoting a series of initiatives at the Casa Candussi Pasiani Cultural Centre.

It will begin on Friday 14, at 6.30 p.m., with the inauguration of the exhibition ‘The verses of Celso Macor in the works of Dario Delpin’. 

The exhibition will feature all the graphic works created by Delpin inspired by Macor's poems: from the engravings collected in the graphic folders Viarsa (1987,) Aghis (1991) and Mistîrs (1995) to the very recent works created for the new edition of the collection of poems ‘Impiâ peraulis’ published by the Società Filologica Friulana.

The exhibition is completed by panels displaying the significant verses of ‘Impiâ peraulis’ in four languages and also allows visitors to listen to Celso Macor's poems read by Giorgio Monte.

The catalogue will also be presented with an introductory note by Ferruccio Tassin in which the biographical and artistic profiles of Macor and Delpin are traced.
