Switching on of the Christmas lights and opening of the ice rink in Tolmin
Among the first events of this year's December in Tolmin will be the lighting of the lights on the festive tree in the centre of Tolmin and the opening of the ice rink. The lights on the Christmas tree will be switched on again this year on Thursday, 5 December at 18:00 in front of the MinK Centre in the centre of Tolmin. We will be joined by acrobats from the Twist Sports Club and the Tolmin Wind Orchestra, and the lights will be switched on by Mayor Alen Červ, especially with the help of the youngest visitors. Then we will see the opening of the skating rink, a new addition this year, on the upper level of the car park on Ulica padlih borcev (behind the Tolmin Cinema Theatre), where visitors will be able to warm up not only on the skates, but also with hot drinks and sweet snacks. These will be provided by the Kburger team, who will also be offering food, drinks and skate rental at the ice rink.
