The Art Of Escape

Recital by violinist Marco Fornaciari The programme will focus on a historical journey of the fugue form from the Baroque to the authors of the 1900s.  

The violinist Marco Fornaciari, born in Livorno, studied in his city at the Istituto Mascagni with C. Chiti. He attended the Accademia Chigiana with Maestros F. Gulli, S. Accardo and R. Brengola. He later obtained the ‘Konzertdiplom’ with distinction at the Geneva Conservatory with C. Romano. He is among the very few who have been granted several times to play the Stradivari of the City of Cremona, and the Guarneri of Paganini of the City of Genoa at the Teatro C. Felice. Also active as a violist, he has recorded on 6 CDs.
