Belongings. Views from the territory

Belongings. Views from the territory

On the occasion of the inauguration of the European Capital of Culture GO!2025, the preview of the exhibition ‘Belongings. Glances from the territory', an exhibition that celebrates the artistic and cultural heritage rich in stories and contaminations of the Gorizia region. An invitation to rediscover the value of roots as an element of unity and belonging. The exhibition, which will later be hosted at ASP ITIS in Trieste, is intended as an intense reflection on the importance of art and memory as essential tools for intergenerational dialogue and the enhancement of the territory.
At the centre of the initiative are the testimonies of artists such as Ignazio Doliach, Sergio Altieri, Luciano De Gironcoli, Roberto Kusterle, Ignazio Romeo, Kristian Sturi, Alfred de Locatelli, Paolo Figar and Massimiliano Busan, whose works and creative paths express the essence of a cross-border area that has always represented a meeting point between Italian and Slovenian artists. This dialogue has opened up innovative spaces of confrontation, generating contaminations that have enriched and shaped their artistic expressions, making them symbols of a shared identity in continuous evolution.
