As part of the ‘Winter Afternoons’ event, the show ‘Hamelin’ is presented. Hamelin is a show that takes up the fairy tale of the Pied Piper, whose protagonist takes revenge on the Burgomaster who has not fulfilled his promise to pay him for ridding the town of rats: through the sound of his enchanted flute, the Piper takes the local children with him. The town of Hamelin really exists in northern Germany, and the story, considered by some to have actually happened....
