A fascinating journey through the collective memory, celebrating the unforgettable theme tunes of cartoons that have influenced generations.

Growing up with certain characters and melodies creates deep emotional bonds, which can generate a strong nostalgia in adults when they hear those theme tunes. They are not just introductions but songs that contribute to creating a distinctive visual and sound identity for each cartoon.

The show will exploit the central role of these theme tunes, creating a sense of familiarity and nostalgia by connecting the audience with the artists, and especially children with their parents, who will recognise these timeless tunes from their childhood.

Fumetti Story aims to bring back to life and reinvent some of the unforgettable theme tunes that have marked the history of cartoons in Italy, through a lively and fun musical show suitable for all ages. The show will be enriched by interactive sketches, musical challenges to the last note and modern rewrites of heroes, heroines and magical creatures.

The audience will be involved in choosing their favourite song! Who will triumph between Dragonball and Sailor Moon? Between Pokemon and Digimon? The Flintstones or Speedy Gonzales? Mila and Shiro's slam-dunks or Holly and Benji's penalty kicks?

The exceptional performers are I Muffins, an artistic quartet formed by singer-songwriter Stefano Colli (finalist of the 58th edition of the Castrocaro Festival on RaiUno and competitor of the 6th edition of The Voice of Italy in the Gigi D'Alessio team) and by the three performers Maddalena Luppi, Giulia Mattarucco and Riccardo Sarti. The company was formed in 2015 and since this year has been working permanently with the AIDA ets Foundation.

The musical arrangement is by Eleonora Beddini, pianist, composer and conductor. She graduated with honours in Piano and Composition for music applied to images.
