Nature, heritage, and sustainable tourism in the future cross-border Kras-Carso Geopark.

The spring edition of the Karst Gmajna Festival invites you to discover one of the oldest cultural landscapes! The Karst gmajna grasslands are considered one of the richest habitats in Europe and beyond. This exceptional environment is the focus of this year’s edition, dedicated to nature tourism and heritage tourism.

All events of the Karst Gmajna Festival, taking place within the emerging cross-border Kras-Carso Geopark, are free of charge for visitors.

The Karst Gmajna Festival is organised within the KRAS-CARSO II project, co-financed by the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Cooperation Programme 2021–2027 (European Regional Development Fund). More information about the project: www.ita-slo.eu/kras-carso-ii.
