KREN TOURIST FARM

The Kren Tourist Farm is located in the wine-growing and fruit-growing oriented Mediterranean landscape in the west of Slovenia - in Goriška Brda, in the small village of Plešivo, where tourism is the main economic sector and where every visitor can get all the food and local wines you desire. The Kren Farm started out as a vineyard and winery, where father Armando and son Darjo made wines together. The farm then moved into the catering business and finally into the catering business, when the Kren Tourist Farm was opened in 2006. Darjo is assisted by his wife Meri, daughter Tjaša and son Matija. Their accommodation is ideal for a break from the noisy city life – for all those who want a peaceful rest in a natural environment. RESTAURANT The Kren Tourist Farm offers a wide selection of homemade Brda specialities: steaks with homemade bread, grilled or oven-roasted meat dishes, homemade gnocchi, noodles and rice with many sauces, and plenty of tasty side dishes. Vegetarian dishes are also available, and for those with a sweet tooth, there are also delicious homemade desserts. In the warmer months, there is an outdoor terrace where visitors can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside and the sunset over Krminska Gora - where they can enjoy a great meal and a glass of good wine in peace. The tourist farm is suitable for parties, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and large groups of people. Inside there are two dining rooms, which can be converted into dance floors if required. ROOMS The Kren Tourist Farm is the perfect choice for those who want a peaceful holiday in the natural surroundings of the Goriška Brda hills. All rooms have a bathroom and extra beds.
