GUGLIELMO PELIZZO
The Guglielmo Pelizzo trekker’s refuge is set on the grassy slopes of Monte Matajûr (1641 m) at approx. 300 m from the summit. From this splendid position, it dominates the Friuli plain as far as the sea. From the summit of Mount Matajûr, where the border between Italy and Slovenia passes, trekkers can enjoy a sweeping view of the Giulie Alps and the valley of Isonzo in the East, the a view of the Dolomiti Clautane and Zoldane in the West.
