How to get

At the foot of Faedis Castle in the heart of the eastern hills of Friuli, you will find the Valnascosta B&B. The old mansion is located in the historic village of Faedis, which was completely renovated in 2014 to offer the maximum comfort to its guests, while keeping intact the unique atmosphere of the past. Original stone columns, gates and windows have been restored and the ceilings with exposed beams give guests the impression of living in a different era but with all the comforts of today. The ground floor comprises of a large porch where you can relax - for example, reading a book - and there are exhibits of old agricultural tools. On the first floor you will find the breakfast room with a fully equipped kitchen for guests, one double bedroom, one single bedroom and a double bedroom, all with private bathrooms. The second, which is the top floor, has a suite of 50 square meters which can accommodate up to 5 persons, with private bathroom, lounge and reading corner

- The Amber Room: The Amber room is the master bedroom of the lessors Valnascosta. The floral decoration on the headboard in amber is particularly warm. The amber hues chosen for the pillows and curtains give the room a true touch of romance. -Turquoise Room: The single room of dell'affittacamere Valnascosta, is characterized by a beautiful turquoise colour. This is the colour, according to colour therapy, that offers tranquility and aids relaxation. We have used the colour in the curtains, an original cabinet and other details such as the picture frames hanging on the walls. -Ruby Room: Ruby is the name of the twin double of dell'affittacamere Valnascosta. The ruby red colour has been chosen for the bedspreads on the twin beds. The carpet and the details of the curtains fit perfectly with the warmth of the beautiful wood, present in both the floor and ceiling, with exposed beams. -Brilliant Suite: Brilliant is the beautiful apartment of our lessors Valnascosta: A large room approximately 50 square meters, which can accommodate up to 5 people. It is equipped with a private bathroom and an elegant lounge with a reading corner. The name is derived from the apartment’s finishing’s, which include two walls of the suite painted brilliant white, as well as hues of ruby red, which glitter.
