Gruppo Scout AGESCI Gorizia 3

We are the A.G.E.S.C.I. Gorizia 3 Scout Group based in Gorizia, Via Rabatta 18. We offer hospitality within our oratory to other Scout or parish groups.
We are the Community Leaders of the A.G.E.S.C.I. Gorizia 3 Scout Group, based in the 'Pastor Angelicus' oratory. This is located in the splendid and evocative setting of Palazzo Rabatta (16th century), the historic home of the Florentine Rabatta family. The oratory is located in a privileged and strategic position. The Metropolitan Cathedral of Gorizia is 100m away, and the charming Piazza Sant'Antonio is 150m away.
Both Gorizia Castle and Piazza Vittoria are a 5/10-minute walk away. Gorizia central station is a 25-minute walk away and the Slovenian Transalpina station is 30 minutes away. The Slovenian-Italian border at the Casa Rossa/ Rožna Dolina pass is less than a 15-minute walk away. There are also numerous bars in the vicinity and the nearest supermarket is only 150 metres away. The oratory's rooms can accommodate groups of up to 70 people. We are also equipped with bathrooms and two kitchens.
Please note that beds are not provided. For your convenience, we have showers in the changing rooms next to the synthetic football pitch. There is the possibility of parking cars and small vans (9 seats) inside the oratory. As we do not have beds available, our hospitality is mainly geared towards other Scout groups and parish groups who can manage their own overnight stays with airbeds/mattresses and sleeping bags. We can guarantee hospitality at any time of the year as the oratory premises are heated. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of hosting Scouts from all over Italy and other European countries, as well as groups of young people from Catholic Action and parish groups.
