There is also a picnic area with a barbecue next to the house. Solkan in the perfect starting point for hiking or cycling tours in the surrounding area, with the Solkan Bridge, villa Bartolomei and mounts Sabotin, Škabrijel and Sveta Gora shrine just outside the city.
