Church of St. Peter and Paul, Nozno

A late Gothic church dating back to the 16th century. The presbytery and part of the nave are in the Gothic style, while the western side of the nave and the bell tower are late Baroque.
Nozno is also worth a visit, with its late Gothich Church of St. Peter and Paul on the nearby hill. The presbytery and part of the nave are Gothic, while the western part of the nave and the bell tower are late Baroque. The iconographic scheme of the elements on the arch of the presbytery is particularly interesting: rosettes, donors' armorial shields and figures. A castle with towers probably stood on this site in the 14th century, owned by the feudal lords of the Orson family of Gorizia.
