Plešivo

Plešivo
Plešivo, with its interesting fortified hamlet of Jordano, was once owned by the Jesuits, who sent sick brothers, friars and theologians here because of the mild climate. The four gates in the hamlet led to four directions: to Medano, to Plešivo, to Fojana and to Krmin. After the abolition of the Order, the Catterini family bought the property and gave it to the Dominican friars for use, and during the agrarian reform after the Second World War, the hamlet was divided among several owners.
