Where:
Farra d'Isonzo
Tenuta Villanova

Founded in 1499, when the Strassoldo family acquired the property from the Patriarchate of Aquileia, Tenuta Villanova is today the longest-running wine-growing reality in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
In 1932 the estate was acquired by Arnaldo Bennati, and today it is managed by his wife, Giuseppina Grossi, skilfully combining respect for tradition with enthusiasm for the oenological future.
The current property extends from the high banks of the Isonzo to the Collio hills for 200 hectares, half of which are cultivated with vines, respecting the territory and the company’s historical identity, producing excellence both in the wine sector and in distillation.
