Along the valley of the Vipava River

You are invited to stroll through a paradise valley where nature creates life! The incredible views of orchards and vineyards tell the story of the surroundings, people and traditions...
We start the day with a walk through the town of Miren, dominated by a picturesque castle and a monastery. Famous for its leather and shoemaking tradition for over a century, as well as for one of the first shoemakers' cooperatives in our country and the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, we will visit the museum to learn about the history of the people who developed the shoemaking trade.

During the week, we will also be able to visit the gallery of Oskar Kogo, designer, academic and artist, who has been pushing the boundaries of global industrial design for over sixty years and dictating living trends with his timeless creations. His mother's restored home houses his exhibition and sales gallery. Here you can immerse yourself in the forms of Kogo's famous natural design, from chalices and vases to sculptures, trays, sacred symbols etc.

In the afternoon, we will board the SUP and paddle along the green river wedged between Trnovo and the Karst plateau, meandering through the valley. We will observe the wild landscape. We will enjoy the view along the meandering meanders of the lazy river that gives so much life to the valley. Want to go for a swim?
We will take a ride under one of the most impressive castles in Slovenia. Rihenberg Castle has dominated Branik from a hilltop since the 12th century. We will end the day in the winemaker's cellar, where he will introduce us to the work of the family farm over a glass of wine.
