Old religious shrine Gulaka

In remote places in western Slovenia, the old religion was preserved long after the advent of the new century. These include the Soča and the Karst. An important turning point was only the First World War, which painfully affected the lives of the locals and their environment, which they transformed with their burials of military troops, and even more so grenade launchers. Most of the locals were taken into exile, from where many returned greatly altered.
Pavel Medvešček collected the last remnants of stories about the inhabitants who lived according to the laws of ancient religion in his books. It was from his record that the initiative arose to discover the place where the ancients were supposed to perform their secret rites. Its location was found, and its energy potential was measured by dowser Jože Munih.
On a tour of the sanctuary, we present the basics of the course of energy forces that permeate the earth's surface and their impact on all living things. We present to you the course of rituals with which the ancients worshiped their deities, healed or satisfied their other needs and desires, from good harvest in the fields, to fertility, health, etc. We measure your energy, show you where and how to cleanse yourself of bad energies before entering the field of clean, high energies, and introduce you to the course of meditation, which fills your body with a new energy charge. The sanctuary is located near the village of Temnica on the Karst.
