The VR corner represents one of the ‘goGreen Points’ of the goGreen programme, a project of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Gorizia for the enhancement of the cultural, historical and landscape heritage of the province of Gorizia.

The goGreen Point in the spaces of the Gallery offers an engaging and fascinating journey into the life and expressive research of the Isonzo painter Luigi Spazzapan, a protagonist of 20th century Italian avant-garde painting: an unexpected, highly emotional experience into the artist's creative sphere, into the genesis of his pictorial sign and his art, accompanied by thoughts and notes taken from his autobiography. A continuous evolution of shapes, figures and geometries tell the story of a rapidly changing world, where Spazzapan's pictorial story is intertwined with the events

tragic events of the two world wars and with other leading figures on the Italian art scene, such as Ettore Sottsass.
