The Belle Art Gallery in Kopriva
Sculptural art works are waiting for you in an old stone house.
The Belle Art Gallery is a sales and exhibition place of the sculptor Matejka Belle. It is located in the middle of the Kopriva village, in the former barn of an old stone house that features a typical enclosed Karst courtyard called 'borjač'. To find the gallery, follow the ceramic signposts with the inscription: ‘belle art galerija’.
The sculptures are on display and for sale.
Matejka Belle’s sculptural art was not long ago chiefly connected with karst stone, but in recent times the artist has also been devoting herself to clay modelling and ceramics.
