The aSMUG project supports linguistic minorities and promotes cultural heritage by fostering creative industries and driving digital innovation, with a special focus on Virtual Reality (VR). Combining dance performances and workshops, it creatively reinterprets the phenomenon of smuggling, adding realism through VR demonstrations.
At the core of the initiative is the dance performance "Contrabbandieri dilettanti", which will debut in Ljubljana and Gorizia before being staged at least six times in partner venues across the border region. Additionally, project partners will develop a collaborative solution to connect Gorizia and Nova Gorica through an innovative "Passe-Partout" method.
aSMUG will also integrate its VR experience with a dance performance, offering a unique and immersive journey. To ensure wider accessibility, the content will also be available on mobile devices.
