Borderless Wireless, go2025.eu, is far more than just a website. It’s an ever-evolving digital platform that has been on the move since December 2023, accompanying GO! 2025 all the way to its grand opening and beyond. It offers a fully immersive experience of the first cross-border European Capital of Culture by creatively showcasing the ‘Borderless Area’. Designed to be an instant go-to resource for both tourists and locals, it serves as an immediate, user-friendly tool that breaks down barriers between Italy and Slovenia. To foster dialogue and shared experiences, the platform is available in Italian, English, and Slovene, mirroring the very values on which this Capital is built.
With Borderless Wireless, you can stay up-to-date with all the latest news and events of GO! 2025, explore the official programme and its projects, and enjoy international concerts, art exhibitions, and food festivals. The tourism section features an interactive map highlighting key attractions across the border area, along with a rich selection of accommodations and restaurants. Boasting over 2,570 lodging options, nearly 200 dining spots, more than 460 cultural sites, and supported by 30 strategically placed webcams, the platform provides all the information you need to plan your visit. Between January 2024 and February 2025, more than 560 news updates and 1,420 events were posted, drawing almost 20,000 visits a day on average. Borderless Wireless also invites you to become an active participant in this cultural celebration. Whether you’re looking to download the official logo, propose an event, or apply as an artist, you can contribute to creating a lasting legacy that highlights the tourism and cultural richness of this unique border region.
