In the two-year period 2024/25, the Eureka Cultural Association, in collaboration with the Italian Tolkien Society, is organizing a cycle of events, which will culminate in 2025 with a major multi-day event that will take place between Gorizia and Nova Gorica in the year in which the two cities will be a single European Capital of Culture.
These events will create a sort of slow journey eastwards (similar to the journey of the Fellowship of the Ring) remembering, alongside the fantasy world of the Lord of the Rings, the great cultural traditions of Friuli, also seen as a crossroads of Central European culture, with the aim of enhancing and animating magnificent realities sometimes little known, authentic pearls of our Region.
