The project "The Fairy Tales - We tell them" involves producing an animated television miniseries that tells the fairy tales of the cross-border area, engaging children in gathering materials to uncover stories, legends, and popular traditions connected to the region's places.
The aim is to create a series dedicated to Europe’s narrative heritage by fostering collaboration among children, teachers, and animation professionals from Italy and Slovenia, such as Gruppo Alcuni and Invida. The innovative aspect of the project lies in the active involvement of children in producing about eight animated episodes.
The mini-series, which will be dubbed in Italian and Slovenian and realised in cooperation with Rai Kids and RTVSLO, will be broadcast in both Italy and Slovenia as part of children's programming and will be presented at international festivals.
