Xcenter serves as the central makerspace of the ECoC, home of the Xmakers workshop and the Laboratory for the Future of Food Bio/n. At Xcenter, we unite young people and adults through initiatives such as CosplayX, the Anima Manga X Club, and PlayX, intergenerational board game activities. Operating at the crossroads of education, research, entrepreneurship, art, and culture, Xcenter is dedicated to cultivating the talents of the future. It hosts a variety of events, including festivals, lectures, educational workshops, ECoC partner meetings, audience development events, cross-border youth group meetings, artistic interventions, and performances. Additionally, it supports numerous events from the ECoC official programme. The Xcenter gallery showcases intermedia exhibitions by internationally acclaimed Slovenian and foreign artists.
