Breakfast with the Artists / Alice Mestriner and Ahad Moslemi

Laboratory, dedicated to former quarry workers and their families, which will be used for the creation of a work of art by Alice Mestriner & Ahad Moslemi.

The laboratory, dedicated to former quarry workers and their families, aims to collect testimonies useful for the creation of Alice Mestriner & Ahad Moslemi’s work of art, drawing from family and personal memories, remembering the production processes and materials from the mine, which may be used for the creation of the work and will inspire its aesthetic and conceptual character. In the relaxed atmosphere of a breakfast with the artists, through simple creative exercises, the families whose history is connected to the quarries and the former workers of the mine will transfer to the artists and to the participating public the historical memory of the place. Residencies and events in collaboration with Coop Valcanale, Musei Tarvisio, Parco Internazionale Geominerario Raibl.
