Festival of rebellion music by Če povem Association

Če Povem Cultural-Artistic Association organises a festival of rebellion music.

The event will take place from Friday 16 August in the afternoon until Sunday 18 August in the evening, with a number of concerts and workshops. Organised by Če Povem Association in cooperation with KS Čepovan, PGD Čepovan, Elektro Primorska, DAF Lighting d.o.o., Casa del Popolo from Gorizia, Agorè - Associazione culturale di promozione sociale with the support of MONG.

FRIDAY, 16 AUGUST: 2 p.m.: Start of the programme and opening of the bar Games afternoon; 3 p.m.: Kubb and Mölkky, ancient Viking games for children and adults; 4-6 p.m.: Piazzutta Lab: games and fairy tales for children, Evening musical riots; 6 p.m.: Carmelo Pipitone: Songs of rage by one of the most original Italian guitarists (ITA); 8.30 p.m.: Covers Night: Ramonik punk and electric sounds from the forest rims (SLO-ITA); 10.00 p.m.: Time Keeper: Explosive and energetic funk-rock from Vrtojba (SLO).

SATURDAY, 17 AUGUST: From 8.30 a.m. onwards: Breakfast (The refreshment counter will be open all day), Playful morning; 10.00-12.00: Piazzutta Lab: games and fairy tales for children, Rebellion through images and words; 11.30 a.m.: "I'm fine when I'm asleep" (studiofaganel), Alessandro Ruzzier, From the Purgessimo barracks to the notion of identity: a photographic book (ITA), Playful afternoon: 4.00-6.00 p.m.: Piazzutta Lab: games and fairy tales for children Literary and theatrical rebellions in the afternoon; 3.00 p.m.: "Understanding the border" (Bottega Errante Edizioni), Giustina Selvelli. A book that tells the story of the concept of the border through the eyes of a travelling anthropologist. Discussion with Martina Napolitano and the author (ITA - SLO); 4.00 p.m.: "Partisan counter-archive" (MASKA), Gal Kirn: Deconstruction and reconstruction of the lost archives of Yugoslavia, as a perspective of a different future, presented by Darko Nikolovski (SLO); 6.00 p.m.: "I want to be a partisan", Poems and pages telling the story of women in the resistance movement, Caterina Comingio and Carlotta Dal Bianco accompanied on guitar by Anna Garano (ITA), Evening musical rebellions; 8.30 p.m.: Yo Yo Mundi. "The world is a hairy ball": Stories, memories and songs about animals, insects and other furry creatures, Eco-world music, rhythms and sounds for a night of revelry (ITA).

SUNDAY, 18 AUGUST; From 8.30 a.m. onwards: Breakfast; Morning Revolt; 11.00 a.m.: Walking through the rebel memorials, accompanied by the Trieste Social Choir and the Carniolan Shepherds; 1.00 p.m.: Opening of the bar Afternoon Revolt; 3.00 p.m.: 10 years of Ronchi dei Partigiani: a political proposal, a cultural provocation, an opportunity for a socio-historical analysis; 8.00 a.m.: Edited by Luca Meneghesso (ITA); 4.00 p.m.: New dynamics of slavery in the shipyards, Libera Association - Highland Cell (ITA), Musical revolts; 17.00: Gap Quartet; 6.30 p.m.: Kraški Ovčarji, Gypsy, Balkan, wild rock (SLO - ITA); 8.30 p.m.: Les Tambours de Topolò. Rhythms and percussion from the valleys above the mountains to the rest of the world (SLO - ITA)

In case of rain, all events will be moved to the Fire House in Čepovan. Free camping. Accommodation in Čepovanka Hostel. Entrance to the festival venue will be possible by paying an annual membership fee of € 10.00 when joining or renewing your membership in our association (the deposit of a reusable glass is included, which costs € 3.00). In order not to further burden the waste of our planet, we have decided to purchase our own washable glasses, which will be available while stocks last. This is purely to reduce our environmental footprint, as we throw away a large amount of otherwise recyclable plastic every year. The deposit will be refunded when you return the jar. Or you can keep it as a souvenir and use it at home to reminisce about the festival, as it is dishwasher safe.
