Gotropolis Festival is coming to Nova Gorica.

Gotropolis is a travelling performing arts festival that creates a supercity and actively builds a shared audience in a multicultural area. Its journey starts outside institutions, as a street festival. Using participatory theatre and gamification mechanisms, it seeks to achieve creative engagement of visitors, fosters networking between local artists on both sides of the border and strengthens the local creative scene. It builds a space beyond linguistic and political constraints, creating a consciousness of a shared conurbation.

The event will take place from 30 August to 1 September 2024.
