Alexander Gadjiev will combine the charm of the Solkan Bridge, the iconic Europe Square and the sublime tranquillity of the Monte Santo Basilica in two concert evenings.
The piano virtuoso and musical ambassador of the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia is preparing a unique tribute to his home region. Alexander Gadjiev will combine the charm of the Solkan Bridge, the iconic Europe Square and the sublime tranquillity of the Monte Santo Basilica in two concert evenings.
The first evening brings an unusual mix of chamber and symphonic music. The symbolic highlight of the evening will be a performance of Beethoven's Coral Fantasy for piano, vocal soloists, choir and orchestra, echoing the uplifting emotional attitude of the Ode to Joy, with its text on the universal interconnectedness of all the arts.
