Noam Sivan - Festival Prečkanja/Sconfinamenti

Festival Prečkanja/Sconfinamenti

Pianist and composer Noam Sivan is a leading pioneer of classical improvisation and an accomplished composer. His album Ambiro's Journey is the world's first classical piano improvisation album, described by critics as "a new milestone in the development of improvisation". Noam was Director of Improvisation at the Curtis Institute of Music (Philadelphia) and a faculty member at the Juilliard School (New York). He currently teaches at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart (HMDK Stuttgart), where he launched one of the first master's programmes in classical piano improvisation. He is now composer in residence, pianist and improvisation coach at the Stegreif Orchestra in Berlin. Each of his solo recitals is a unique event where the music follows a narrative, visual art, nature or familiar melodies. Join us for an unforgettable live music experience!

The project is funded by the European Union under the Small Project Fund GO! 2025 of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme 2021-2027, managed by the EGTC GO.
