A dispersed festival in the eastern border area that brings social and contemporary theatre to unconventional venues in the cross-border area, ‘naturally close’ to the people who live there and to the spectators who are invited to reach it, to experience it, to get to know it.

Ten days of performances, workshops and meetings to tell the story of the border as a space of cultural richness and, at times, as a barrier to be overcome, to LIVE HERE the unique experience of a territory rich in history and culture, exploring it unhurriedly, discovering its complexity and beauty.

The heart of the Festival is the Basaglia Park in Gorizia, a green space a few metres from the border with Nova Gorica with great charm and strong significance. For QUIVIVO in fact the border is not only a physical but also an affective and symbolic place where different artistic, social and linguistic experiences can meet, confront each other and become synthesis in a shared experience.
