More than Jazz project 

In 2010, Rita Marcotulli wrote the soundtrack of the film ‘Basilicata Coast to Coast’ (by director Rocco Papaleo) for which she received the Ciak d’oro, the Nastro d’argento for best soundtrack and the David di Donatello for best musician (the first woman ever to receive such an award). Furthermore, in 2011 she was elected in the ‘Top Jazz’ referendum, held by the magazine Musica Jazz, as the best Italian jazz artist.

Rita Marcotulli will perform and lead an ensemble of 5 students selected for the occasion from prestigious international music universities:

Damien Kuntz from HKB – University of the Arts in Bern

Francesco Assini from the Francesco Venezze Conservatory in Rovigo

Giacomo Ieraci from the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory in Trieste
