Steve McCurry's exhibition is now open in Trieste's Salone degli incanti.
From today, Friday 15 November, the Salone degli Incanti in Trieste will host "Steve McCurry. Sguardi sul mondo" (Glimpses of the World), a retrospective with over 150 images - some of which previously unpublished - that takes visitors on a journey through the faces, places and cultures encountered by the American photographer.
Steve McCurry's exhibition at the Salone degli Incanti in Trieste is one of the most complete exhibitions of the artist's work, presenting for the first time in Friuli Venezia Giulia over a hundred works, giving an overview of the themes dearest to him: travel, cultures, children and portraits immortalised in India, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Africa, China, Cambodia, Japan and many other countries.
The exhibition is part of the programme of GO! 2025&Friends, the series of events conceived and promoted by the FVG Region on the occasion of the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia.
Opening hours:
Tuesday to Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last entrance at 5 p.m.);
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. (last entrance at 6 p.m.)
